You’ve got a box of toys that you can’t get anywhere else, and it’s time to turn your box into a makeshift fireplace.
The basic step to getting started with DIY cardboard fireplace is to put cardboard on a flat surface (like a cardboard box), then put a plastic sheet over the cardboard, making sure that you don’t touch the cardboard.
You’ll need to carefully cover the cardboard to prevent the cardboard from spreading, but you can also just use a paper towel to keep it all covered.
Step 2: Lay the cardboard in a circle to create a shapeStep 2A: Place the cardboard circle on a baking sheet and line it up vertically with a sheet of cardboard.
Step 2B: Place cardboard over the sheet of plastic and roll it around to create the cardboard boxStep 3: Fold the cardboard over itself and cut it into stripsStep 3A: Fold over the sides of the cardboard rectangle to form a ringStep 3B: Fold down one side of the ring, then fold it back over itselfStep 4: Cut each strip of cardboard into strips, and then fold them togetherStep 5: Fold all the strips into a circle, and cut a hole in the middleStep 6: Place a sheet over one side and then the other, so that you have a circle that can fit over the holeStep 7: Place your cardboard box in the center of the circle, then carefully fold the cardboard into a squareStep 8: Place two of your strips of cardboard on the cardboard squares and lay them side-by-side to form the boxStep 9: Fold in the other strips of paper, then press them together to form another ringStep 10: Put the cardboard back in the cardboard boxes and place them back into their cardboard boxesStep 11: Repeat this process until all the cardboard is in the box
